I am so unsure, unsteady

heart beats

I am unready

to know you, all of you

here, yesterday

it was different, today the same, tomorrow altered

paradigm shifted

this heavy feeling on my

heart goes unlifted

quicken the pain, come on

bring on the rain that this

space is accustomed to you

and your lies, the way you 

smile; just go my heart is

not your home No wait don’t

don’t leave I

can’t deal with this

change of pace; this life

with you, I’m exhausted from

this race…its ok you’ve

shown me how I can be replaced

go ahead give away my space

in the depth of those brown

brown eyes that were never truly

mine in the first place
